The best advise that I can give to someone looking to adopt a new Yorkshire Terrier puppy into their family is this.  Make sure you get AT LEAST A ONE YEAR HEALTH GUARENTEE THAT OFFERS YOUR MONEY BACK NOT JUST A REPLACEMENT PUPPY IF GOD FORBID SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOUR LITTLE ONE.  IF YOUR PUPPY DIES WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU WANT ANOTHER PUP FROM THIS BREEDER ?   Think about it.  Unfortunately there are many scams and many sick pups that will either die on you or need to live the rest of their lives on medication and cost you a fortune and break your heart seeing them sick.  I cannot stress this enough when purchasing your new furry family member.  I hear the saddest stories and want to help prevent so many families from being devistated and driving broke if I can.  If a breeder knows that their pups are healthy they will not have any problem what so ever giving you a fair health guarentee or run the other way !  This applies no matter if you are looking to adopt a tiny yorkie which people refer to as teacup yorkie (all this means is Yorkshire Terrier under 5 pounds, it is not a seperate breed) or a standard size yorkshire terrier.  MAKE SURE YOUR HAPPY WITH THE GUARENTEE !!!!  I have both size yorkies.  Teenie tiny size, and larger.  Both are very desirable and adorable.    You can go by a weigh chart to figure out how large your pup will be at full maturity.  I will be adding one to this website to help you.  ALSO GET REFERENCES AND DON'T JUST GET THEM, CHECK THEM AS WELL !!!  NOONE CAN VOUCHE FOR A BREEDER AND THE HEALTH OF THEIR YORKIES LIKE A FAMILY THAT OWNS ONE !!  This breed has stolen our hearts for over 22 yrs now.   Your time and efforts searching for a well bred healthy yorkie will pay you back 1000 times once you get him/her.  
    Our yorkies sleep in our bedroom at night and are our family members.  During the day they have 2 acres of fenced in land to play and agility train in.  Their favorite sport is yocker (yorkie soccer).  We would be lost without our yorkie family they are so loving fun intelligent cuddly and adorable !
